about juris medica

Attorney and certified coder Tandy Digby is the founding member of Juris Medica Law as well as President of Juris Medica Compliance Consulting. Through Juris Medica Law, she represents anesthesiologists, chronic pain practitioners, and other health care providers in federal health care investigations, audits, indictments, trials, and medical license revocation hearings. She also reviews and prepares corporate formation documents, managed care contracts, billing contracts, etc.

Prior to entering law school, Tandy was employed as an RN. Her hands-on experience allows her to understand the unique concerns and challenges that face the health care industry. And prior to entering private law practice, Tandy was a felony prosecutor as well as an attorney for local governmental bodies, including the school board and watershed district. These positions gave her significant experience in dealing with both state and federal agencies during criminal investigations, criminal trials, and administrative proceedings.

Through Juris Medica Compliance Consulting, Tandy provides a wide variety of auditing, compliance, and educational services to pain and anesthesia providers. Since Tandy is an attorney, her audits are performed under the umbrella of the attorney-client privilege, to the extent allowed by law.
